Events at LSP

    As part of our curriculum, LSP offers special events and programs throughout the school year.   

​

  • A Potluck Dinner is held in late September.  Families come together with the LSP staff for dinner and fellowship on this special evening.  

  • In October, LSP holds an annual Fall Festival for our preschool families. This is a fun day of games, food and rides for all! 

  • A Fall Sing-a Long is performed by the LSP children after the costume parade.

  • To count our blessings we gather for a school wide Thanksgiving Feast and share foods each class has prepared.

  • Each December, the children of LSP perform a Christmas music program for families and friends. Each class celebrates the birth of Baby Jesus with a party.

  • Each year the children choose one special person to invite to our "Special Person's Tea".

  • In late Spring the children present an end of the year musical performance for families to attend.

  • Field trips and in-school presentations vary among classes but include puppet shows, the Fire Department, the dentist, Trader Joe's, Mother Goose Story Teller, Hidden Pond Nature Center, Tiny Tots Christmas Concert, the Post Office and Scales 'n Tales.
